The Tranquileyes Chronic Dry Eye Basic XL with Beads is 30% larger than the original tranquileyes goggle. The XL is recommended for individuals with Meibomian Gland Dysfunction, Blepharitis and those with evaporative Dry Eye who plan to use the system for treatments and not necessarily nighttime shelter (smaller faces will find this goggle too big for sleeping). Key benefits of the XL is increased treatment intensity and duration. Combining warm water with the reusable gel packs, insulated in the thermal plastic goggle, the 20-25 minute moist-heat therapy loosens the oils in the meibomian glands while deeply hydrating the delicate eyelid and sensitive surrounding skin. Each set of the Bead gel packs will create approximately 60 moist-heat therapies.
